Testing of electric motors for efficiency

At present there is uncertainty as to whether efficiency and emissions of electric motors and frequency converters meets regulations.

By combining equipment of highest quality with very accurate calibration after each test, we have now been able to determine the efficiency of electric motors with an uncertainty of only 0.1 % verified by Intertek Semko.

In our test rig we can test motors up to 40 kW for efficiency according to the direct method as well as the indirect method, all according to IEC 60034.2.1.

The test procedure and calculation are totally computerised and a test result is based on input of more than 900 readings.

Other Tests

In cooperation with an accredited body, we can also carry out all other tests required for certifying electric motors.
